Born on the island of Trinidad, Christine grew up in a large family of several famous artists surrounded by vibrant colours and a rich culture. A self taught artist, she has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions and her work can be found in private collections both here and abroad.
Christine's work is a constant search for the best way to interpret her ideas about herself, our Caribbean culture and the beauty and colours of the island Barbados. She works mainly in acrylics, but also works in oil, wax resist, encaustic and resin. Her ultimate desire is for the person standing in front of one of her pieces to feel the same joy and happiness that she felt creating it.
