Heritage Steam Railway at St. Nicholas Abbey

The St. Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway is the newest exciting attraction at the Abbey. It's a restored 1914 steam locomotive that traversing the plantation with views of the cane fields, mahogany woods, limestone quarry and dramatic views of the wild Atlantic Coast at Cherry Tree Hill.

In days of old, first class passengers drank champagne whilst those in third class got out and pushed.

Today visitors are still invited to assist with the turning of the locomotive on the turntable at Cherry Tree Hill -now for fun!

Visit 'Whistles at the Railway Café' and the Gift Shop which has an exciting selection of train memorabilia and the unique artisanal single cask rums of St Nicholas Abbey. 'Combo' tickets which include the Train Journey and the Heritage and Rum tour at St. Nicholas Abbey, are also available.

Scheduled Departures at: 9:30 am; 11:00 am; 1:00 pm & 2:30 pm. Passengers are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes before the departure times listed above.
