The Barbados Jazz Society in collaboration with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, under the patronage of His Excellency Ambassador Cor Hersbach, presents a jazz concert with Michiel Borstlap, an award winning concert pianist and composer, and friends in a tribute to Herbie Hancock on Monday 5th May at 7pm.
Michiel Borstlap is one of the most successful jazz musicians in the Netherlands. He is a pianist-composer who has made a remarkable impact on the jazz scene. Graduating from the Hilversum Conservatory of Music in 1992, Borstlap's musical journey has been characterised by innovation and excellence.
