Your Weekend at Africa Fest Awaits

Friday night at the film. Saturday in the gardens with the whole family. Sunday on the beach. That is Africa Fest: one festival, three days, October 30 to November 1. Come for all of it.

Can’t make every day? Come to the one that fits your weekend.

Day 1: Friday, October 30: Afro Film

6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Barbados Museum & Historical Society. We open the weekend with an award-winning film from the continent.

Day 2: Saturday, October 31: Africa Fest

10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Wildey House Gardens. Storytelling, music, dance, food and culture. It is suitable for the entire family, and the Free Play Zone keeps the little ones busy while you take it all in.

Day 3: Sunday, November 1: Afro Lime

1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Miami Beach. Join a team, pick up a kit, and build a sustainable beach model with guidance from an expert.

The weekend pass

One pass covers all three days: the Afro Film Refreshment Pass, one adult Africa Fest ticket and one Afro Lime pass.
