Cows, Crops, Country: Walk Through the Working Landscape of Walkers Dairy

Walk through the working landscape of Walkers Dairy A fundraising "Hike"

This is your chance to see a different side of the island as we walk through Walkers Dairy and the surrounding plantation lands.

Along the way, you'll meet some of the dairy's cattle, discover the grasses grown on the farm, learn about Barbadian trees and their traditional uses, and get an inside look at local farming practices.

We'll also explore how sargassum seaweed is being transformed into compost, turning a challenge affecting our coastlines into a useful resource for the land.

This is a chance to slow down, explore, and discover the connections between Barbados' natural environment, agricultural traditions and the land that sustains us.
