A glorious Marine Reserve and a beach that ticks all the boxes...perfect for family picnics, snorkeling with the turtles, diving over shipwrecks (seven of them to be exact), paddle boarding, long walks and lively beach bars.

Pebbles Beach

Pebbles is an extension of Carlisle Bay that runs beyond the pier at the Radisson Hotel to the Hilton.

Operating out of the Barbados Cruising Club is G Fish Watersports - a boutique-style dive operation offering dive and snorkel trips to the Marine Reserve in Carlisle Bay, and Paddle Barbados who offer stand-up paddle board lessons and kayak rentals. Dipper’s Beach Bar is a great rum punch serving bar and Cuz’s famous Fish Shack is located in the car park.

Carlisle Bay Beach Club

A great place to wring every last drop of sun and sea from your Barbados holiday. Their Chill-ability Package offers a last day chill-out at the beach, rather than sitting around waiting at your hotel or at the airport.

They’ll pick you up, check you in and drop you off at the airport for your flight departure. Their day-passes include a range of activities and entertainment, or just enjoy a day on the beach with beach-side waitress service and delicious food from their Bay-side restaurant.

Lobster Alive

This popular ‘shabby chic’ restaurant is THE place to eat fresh lobster... drink in hand and toes in the sand! Lobster Alive exudes an irresistible laid back vibe, where you can enjoy Trotty’s jazz steel pan at lunchtime, or the marvellous Jazz Quartet that performs Tuesday to Saturday evenings and Sunday Lunch. Wheelchair and family friendly with beach chairs, umbrellas and washroom facilities. Reservations advised (246) 435-0305.

Harbour Lights Beach Bar & Grill

Widely known for their lively nightclub scene, Harbour Lights is also a fun daytime hangout on Carlisle Bay! They offer beach chairs & umbrellas, free Wi-Fi, changing rooms, showers, Sports TV, restaurant and cocktail bar – all just a few feet from your beach chair!

Ask about their Combo Package which includes beach chair and umbrella plus a 45 minute Turtle & Shipwreck Tour, which stops for a swim and snorkel with the turtles and wrecks for US$20, it’s unbeatable value! Visit their website harbourlightsbarbados.com for more!

Things to do

From swimming with sea turtles, partying under the stars, exploring the rugged east coast to enjoying the island’s duty free shopping, Barbados has something for everyone.
