United International Arts Expo Festival invites the public to a “Walk For The Arts” event on Saturday September 07, 2024 6am – 11am commencing at the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc, One Barbados Place, Warrens and ending at the National Botanical Gardens with a picnic and entertainment featuring Adrian Clarke, Neil Waithe, Hazel Charles and more!
This event will propel the upcoming United International Arts Expo Festival to be held September 18-23, 2024 in Barbados, encouraging our community that “ART MATTERS.” This expo aims to add significant value to the tourism sector of Barbados and lay the foundation for a new legacy to be built for the creative industry by demonstrating a more tangible link between tourism, culture, film and technology whilst aiming to reduce crime through positive messaging through education, arts, entertainment and sports.
The UIAE will be dedicated to forging strategic collaborations, engaging communities, and innovative programming and curating an immersive and inclusive event that showcases diverse local and global talent. They also hope to establish linkages with global partners to allow for knowledge transfer between global artists and local creatives.
