These magnificent beaches are all located in St. Peter with glassy, turquoise water. All of them have good areas for snorkelling with a variety of watersports on offer. Mullins Beach Bar is now a private ‘members only’ club associated with Royal Westmoreland. On either side are chair/umbrella rentals and drinks available with toys in the sea for clambering about on and constant availability of watersports operators. Sea Shed, a new ultra chic restaurant has become very popular and Bombas, just north of Mullins, is a wonderfully laid back beach bar serving tasty food and cold drinks.
At the southern end of the beach there is a good area for picnics. Gibbes Beach has no beach chairs for rent nor refreshments for sale but lovely peaceful swimming.
Reeds Bay in Lower Carlton is a lovely, long, crescent shaped beach with easy access and great swimming but no facilities!
