One of the most popular beaches on the island with plenty of parking, great swimming, trees for shade, lots of people and lots of activity. It’s a great place for body surfing and body watching!
There are boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas for rent and a number of beach stalls selling hot food, cold drinks, clothing, locally made jewellery and souvenirs.
Visit the nearby Quayside Centre for locally made crafts, gifts and souvenirs from Best of Barbados Gift Shops. You can also pick up some fresh grilled fish from Just Grillin' and some tasty, gourmet treats from The Green Monkey Chocolatier.
Lifeguards are on duty and public facilities and showers are also available. Shopping and supermarkets are also very close by.
